$100K Lottery Ticket Sold East Haven Among Three Six-Figure Winners

It’s been a week of life-changing luck for three Connecticut Lottery players after each scored $100,000 prizes across the state. The wins were all claimed within seven days of each other.

The winning streak began Wednesday, Nov. 13, when a Norwalk resident snagged the $100,000 top prize in the CT Lottery’s popular Cash5 drawing. The lucky ticket, sold at Super 7 Food & Market on New Canaan Avenue, earned the store a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Not long after, another Cash5 win rolled in on Monday, Nov. 18. A player who purchased their ticket at the 7-11 on Davis Street in Oakville matched the top prize numbers, claiming another $100,000 jackpot. The store will also collect a $1,000 bonus.

On Tuesday, a lucky scratch game player in East Haven won $100,000 on the $100,000 CA$HWORD game. The winning ticket came from Forbes Premium Fuel on North High Street, making it the third retailer this week to earn a $1,000 bonus for selling a top-prize ticket.
